ELLSWORTH – Women, Work, and Community in Ellsworth will offer a twelve-week business-planning course called New Ventures Entrepreneurship Training from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 1. The course¬† covers the following topics in depth: identifying your customer, your competition, marketing, record keeping, taxes, legal aspects, financing your business, and much more. At the end of 12 weeks you will have a written business plan.
New Ventures begins with an orientation, followed by interviews with each candidate. Class size is limited to 15. The deadline for applications is September 20 with an orientation session on September 24. Enrollment is limited. Classes are free and confidential.
