MILLINOCKET, Maine — Due to health issues the Line Dance Lessons that were scheduled in Millinocket in the Meals for Me Room at Stearns Assisted Living have had to be canceled. these were to be held on Wed & Sunday evenings, and Friday mornings.

Services officer available for assistance in lincoln beginning Jan. 5

LINCOLN, Maine — Don Dare, veterans services officer, will be available¬† from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thursdays, Jan. 5 and Jan. 19, at the Lincoln VA Outreach Clinic, 99 River Road. The service officer will assist veterans, widows, and dependent children to apply for state and federal benefits.

Morison Trust Fund requests due by Jan. 13

CORINTH, Maine — The Board of Selectmen are requesting that citizens interested in submitting articles from the Abner F. Morison Trust Fund for the 2012 annual town meeting, submit their requests by Jan. 13, 2012. All other articles for consideration should be submitted by Jan. 27, 2012.
