BANGOR – The Reverend Noble Pub is holding its first annual Octoberfest in historic downtown Bangor’s West Market Square from noon to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 16 and from noon to 6p.m.¬† Sunday, Oct. 17. Patrons can select from five fall seasonal and Octoberfest beers produced by regional craft brewers. Pints, mugs or a five beer sampler are available in the Square, while over 120 beers, including over a dozen German beers, are available inside the Pub located on the second floor of #10 Broad Street. Enjoy brats, sauerkraut, German potato salad and soft pretzels outside or a full menu inside. Staff will be in theme attire and limited edition Octoberfest t-shirts will be available for sale. Polka playing accordionist Ian Weiler Bean will provide music throughout the day. Festivities continue into the evening on Saturday with a live performance by Stiff Whisker at Ipanema Bar & Grill at #10 Broad Street starting at 9pm. Gl√ľcklich Oktoberfest!
