PORTLAND – Lambert Coffin, of Portland, Maine, a multi-lawyer firm offering comprehensive legal services, announces that Maureen Sturtevant has joined the firm as an associate. Prior to returning to Portland, Maureen practiced with a large firm in Boston where she represented both debtors and creditors committees in chapter 11 cases and out-of-court restructurings. Maureen continues to represent and counsel commercial lenders in bankruptcy and creditors’ rights matters and, utilizing her bankruptcy litigation experience, has expanded her practice to include civil litigation and professional and products liability matters.
Maureen earned her B.A. from University of Virginia, and her J.D., magna cum laude, from Roger Williams University School of Law. While at Roger Williams, Maureen served as an assistant editor on the Roger Williams Law Review, vice president of the Environmental Law Society, and a governing board member of National Association of Environmental Law Societies.
