BOWDOIN – Today FHC’s Board of Directors confirmed Keri Sewell Seitz as President and Chief Operating Officer, reporting to Frederick Haer, the company’s Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer. In this new role, Ms. Seitz is responsible for managing all operational aspects of the company with direct supervision for the Quality and Compliance, Production, Customer Fulfillment, Engineering, and Business Services departments.

Ms. Seitz had career experience in both fulfilling regulatory compliance requirements and administering them when she joined FHC in 2004. She was promoted to manager in 2009. Ms. Seitz resides in Brunswick with her husband, Mark, and their two children: six-year-old Thomas, and 3-year-old Caitlin.

Haer expressed complete confidence in the new management structure, stating, “Keri built our regulation and compliance department to where it has the respect of our quality and FDA auditors. She is the logical candidate to assume the responsibility for our total operations. Her eager and positive attitude, commitment to our core values, and optimistic yet humble presentation will lead FHC to meet and surpass our goals for next year and the future.”

Born and raised in Presque Isle, Maine, and a graduate of the University of Maine, Orono, Ms. Seitz is particularly enthusiastic about FHC’s commitment to community and to remaining a Maine-based manufacturer. “We are very proud to depend upon Maine vendors and we intend to continue relying on Maine businesses to support our growth,” she said.

FHC, Inc., headquartered in Bowdoin, Maine, manufactures and internationally markets neuroscience and neurological devices used to monitor brain cellular activity. Founded in 1970 in Ann Arbor, Michigan and relocated to Maine in 1977, FHC now employs 98 people, including sales and technical support staff in Greenville, PA and Bucharest, Romania. FHC is committed to the core values of collaborative innovation, outstanding quality and customer service, dedication to employee development, responsibility to its communities, and respectful business relationships.
