BANGOR, Maine –¬† Rosscare is proud to announce that Rebecca Greaves was honored by the American College of Health Care Administrators (ACHCA) with the Facility Leadership Award. ACHCA award honors administrators of nursing homes who have met superior healthcare standards. Rebecca is the administrator at Dexter Health Care, which is a partnership facility of Rosscare and First Atlantic. The leadership award was celebrated during the award banquet at ACHCA‚Äôs Annual Convocation and Exposition in New Orleans, LA, May 2, 2011.
Rebecca and her team are among 355 other recipients. Award recipients were selected based on reported skilled nursing facility resident data from the MDS (Minimum Data Set – a required assessment of all admissions to nursing homes) that reflects the care and services provided. In order to qualify for consideration, recipient‚Äôs organizations must have an average occupancy above 90 percent, and the same administrator must have filled the role through the award year.
The ACHCA is guided by the vision that dynamic leadership forges long-term healthcare services that are desired, meaningful, successful, and efficient. This organization identifies, recognizes, and supports long-term care leaders, advocating for their mission and promoting excellence in their profession.
