Dead River Company Announces New Website

PORTLAND — Dead River Company, one of the largest distributors of petroleum products in northern New England, today announced the launch of its new website www.deadriver.com. The new site was developed to provide expanded online services for customers, make it easier for them to use and actively engage them. Additionally, the site will offer expertise and advice on how customers can improve energy efficiency to save money.

A new online tool is featured on the website which allows customers to schedule service and request a delivery. Individuals wishing to become a Dead River Company customer can now start an account online. To help advise customers, an “Ask the Expert” section has been included where customers can submit questions about how to improve their heating systems’ efficiency and a dedicated area for customers to share stories about their experiences with Dead River Company has been added. A virtual home tour that demonstrates the versatility of propane is available online as well as a virtual home tour identifying ways consumers can save on their energy expeditures. There is also an informative video about Dead River Company’s EasyCAP Price Protection Plan. The company plans to continue to add easy-to-use tools to enhance the customer service experience. An online bill paying tool is expected to be available in mid-2011.
