BATH – A 42-hour CompTIA Strata certificate training class will begin at Burgess Computer’s training facility in Bath from 5:30 to 8:30pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings on July 27th and run 7 weeks through Thursday, September 9th. There are no prerequisites. Students should be willing to learn material that becomes increasingly technical. Enrollment forms, course objectives, and further information about course, costs, and materials can be found on the Burgess Computer training site at www.burgesscomputer.com/training, or by calling Kate Carpenter or Iman Poeraatmadja at 207-443-9554.
Strata training targets everyday users who want to learn appropriate computer and network concepts and terminology, computer hardware, software and network troubleshooting basics, compatibility issues and common errors, security risks and prevention, “Green IT” concepts, and preventative maintenance techniques.
If you are new to the IT job market, are switching careers to IT, want to better understand your own business technology, or just want to be the tech hero in your own home, Strata covers basic through technical concepts in an easy-to-understand, hands-on environment. Strata is also a great preparatory course for the more advanced CompTIA A+ IT Technician certification class.
