ELLSWORTH – Women, Work and Community is offering a three-session workshop for individuals interested in starting their own business. This introductory workshop, developed in partnership with CEI‚Äôs Women‚Äôs Business Center, will answer questions, discuss pros and cons of being an entrepreneur, and help you start a business plan.
This series will be held 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Thursdays, Oct. 14 through Oct 28.¬† Classes will be held at the Hancock County Higher Education Center in the Mill Mall in Ellsworth. Areas to be covered in class include: assessing your skills for business, an introduction to the business planning process, marketing and an explanation of cash flow‚ÄĒthe lifeblood of any business.
