ELLSWORTH -Â â€“ To show support for the fight against heart disease in women, Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees throughout the entire company voluntarily wore read on Friday, Feb. 4, which was National Wear Red Day. Wearing red is a simple yet powerful way to raise awareness of heart disease and stroke. Wear Red Day, sponsored by the American Heart Association, helps to educate women about heart disease and stroke. This is the second year that the bank has participated in the Go Red for Women movement.
